Workshop Accessibility
The Accessibility points I have in all of my workshops.
I make sure that the information for the workshops is communicated in three main different ways.
I verbally communicate the information as well as it being shown in a type format on a PowerPoint presentation.
And also communicated visually in the PowerPoint presentation via photographs and images.
When planning and facilitating the workshops I make sure that I consider the different skill levels of the groups.
And adapt the workshops as necessary four example I may avoid using artistic phrases such as “foreground and background”. Whilst aiming not to come across as patronising to the group.
I also carefully consider for each workshop what equipment and materials will be available.
And I will aim to avoid any equipment and materials which would be harder to get for the workshop.
Also whilst planning the workshop’s I am careful to consider where
and how participants may need extra help with any parts of the workshops.
And the best way this help can be provided and who the best person is to provide it.
I’m more than happy to adapt my workshops in any ways to make them more accessible to groups and participants.
Also more than happy to discuss the accessibility of my workshops with participants and appropriate are professionals.
